Our Group Dinner in The Erlebnis Restaurant

Tuesday Evening June 10th 2014

Tonight was our turn to eat in the speciality restaurant. This restaurant has 24 seats, is located on deck 3, at then rear of then ship, has it's own chef & waiters who present a 5 course meal & matching wines. Each passenger on our cruise is entitled to book this restaurant on one night so everyone has the opportunity to dine there. One of our group, Gisele, booked for 12 a few days ago.

So here are some photos with fairly accurate descriptions. Some I am having trouble remembering, so I am sure I will be corrected by others present :)

Bread/Rolls

Appetiser - Grilled tiger prawn with a seaweed salad (the salad was in a little bowl below the prawn)

Soup: Ginger & Pumpkin with butterfish

Entree - Chicken with avocado mousse & saffron sauce

Mains: Lamb rack

Or ... Crusted salmon

 
Desserts - Fudge, white chocolate icecream tart & chocolate mousse with lychees 

This was the sugar free option - not sure what it was but looked nice.

I think we all had a great night, food was delicious & the wine was excellent.
